DIRECTIONS:My house is at the end of the cul-de-sac, and plenty of parking (please feel free to use the driveway, and the gravel drive, as well as spaces along the street). E-mail me at weylyn42 (at) hotmail (dot) com if you need directions.
WHY: Anyone in the Gainesville region who attempted NaNo WriMo this year. Got 100,000 words? Cool –come celebrate. Got 100 words? Awesome – you attempted something many wouldn’t dare – come celebrate. Never yet been to a NaNo WriMo event? Come celebrate – meet some of the other local participants from this year. Feel free to bring someone who supported you along the way.
WHAT: Potluck – bring a dish to share. Anything. Really. And yes, pizza is okay. Alison, Amanda and I will provide sodas, tea, water, lemonade, dishes, cups, etc, etc. A fun tradition: Try to relate what you are bringing to the potluck to your novel, or novel writing experience: i.e. “One of my characters was allergic to ____, so would not be able to eat this” or “All month my roommate made ______ for me, to keep me going.”
Bring your experiences of November to share. We will go through the suggestions jars, and commiserate over our month.

Is there a charge to any of these events? I will only be able to attend the Nov. 17 and possibly Nov 30 events.

The only event we are asking money for is the Lock-In Write-In, from Sat, Nov 14th 9pm – Sun, Nov. 15 9am. We are asking $5 that will go to the purchase of pizza and soda. Any extra money will be donated to the Office of Letters and Light.
All other events are free and open, and we look forward to seeing you.
